Yacht charter Germany- a lot to explore
Charter Areas
North Sea, Baltic Sea and the "Bodensee" - Yacht Charter Germany
truly worth a visit
it doesn't always have to be abroad
North Sea and Baltic Sea and Mecklenburg Lake District
In the inland area you can rent a boat / houseboat and relax and explore the connected lakes.
A much more relaxed holiday especially for the skipper from, for example, Müritz / Mecklenburg Lake District.
All around in Germany you see witness of culture.
The North Sea also has beautiful islands in Germany, which you can reach with charter yachts.
We keep asking not to underestimate the North Sea. This is not a territory for newbies.
Almost exclusively yachts for the North Sea are rented from Holland.
Smaller motor sports boats are also available in Germany, but they are only allowed in the 3 nm zone.
Renting boats larger than a houseboat-sized dinghy without a license is only possible in the inland area.
The tide does not matter in the Baltic Sea, but the area also has its pitfalls. The shallower a sea and the smaller it is, the more there are crossing waves formed by reflections. The water level can vary locally by up to one meter due to strong winds.
Nevertheless, we would recommend the Baltic Sea as a starting point for a sport boating career.
Lake Constance "Bodensee"
Once again a not to be underestimated area. Rapidly gathering thunderstorms and star winds keep all water sports enthusiasts and the rescuers hurrying busy all year round.
Lake Constance is largely private property all around, so you have to plan properly where you are allowed to moor.
Please note that three countries share the lake with a non-European border, which customs control very closely.
